Taking time to take care of yourself.
Self-care is a sustainable and holistic investment in our minds and bodies. It includes taking good care of our physical health, most notably by eating healthily, exercising, and sleeping well. But it also entails looking after our minds, emotions and soul, which can take the form of setting time aside for activities that nourish our spirits and learning to understand how we can best replenish our energies.
Taking care of your emotions/spirit.
1) Do something that makes you laugh! Perhaps attend a laughter yoga class and Laugh, Laugh, Laugh.
2) Engage in random acts of kindness. This has been linked to mood boosting.
3) Engage in spiritual practices- meditation, energy work, anything that takes you into your amazingly big, beautiful heart.
4) Cultivate an attitude of gratitude, for all thing, big and small.
5) Make a nightly gratitude list.
6) Sing, Dance, Sculpt and indulge in fun!
7) Meditate or pray if that aligns with your belief or value system.
8) Seek therapy as needed to help make sense of your emotional experiences.
9) Focus on thoughts that align with the highest vibrational frequencies available.
10) Progressive muscle relaxation.
11) Guided imagery.
12) Take emotional risks by being vulnerable with people who have earned your trust.
13) Have some spiritual healings or training to help you release old, stagnant, unproductive energies.
14) Learn how to self-soothe.
15) Fill up with Grace and love daily.
16) Play with an animal – your own pet or someone else’s.
17) Indulge your creativity by drawing, dancing, painting, sculpting, etc, even if you don’t think you’re good at it.
18) Have fun, perhaps you have children in your life who can help with this !
19) Find a spiritual pathway through life!
20) Remember that it is the moment-to-moment choices that matter most. (Make the choice to be present- stay aware of your moment-to-moment choices).

Daily Care
This article on “Daily Care” is what the Angels offered me during a meditation.
Learn how to become aware of the light within and then allow it to shine.
Make the conscious choice to become self-aware of your inner strengths and desires; then consistently let them shine. Never play small to accommodate someone else’s insecurities!
• It is helpful to set the intention to discover and learn about yourself (e.g., your qualities and desires).
• Practice meditation.
• Surround yourself with nature and high vibrational situations and people.
• Practice kindness and appreciation of all.
• Have an attitude of gratitude.
• Remember that giving and receiving are the same energy. Allow yourself to receive.
• Discover what you value and how you want to live your life.
• Practice introspection by going inside of yourself, connecting to your thoughts and feelings. (As far as introspection is concerned, don’t confuse it with that of overthinking. Introspection means examining yourself in a proper manner, which can lead to overthinking if you practice it above a limit.)
• Engage in daily self-reflection, without outside distractions, to assess if your attitude and actions matches who you want to be and how you want to live; then immediately make necessary adjustments. (This will be a work in progress)!
• Develop a willingness to let go of what no longer serves you well.
• Learn from life’s lessons and grow with the pain of failure!
• Practice self-love until it becomes second nature.
• Change the way you think and watch the things you think about change!
• Express appreciation for the good that is within you, and all around you.
Within us, there is an inner light that can help create greatness that brightens our world. The inner light provides a guiding compass, directing us toward who we are – our greatness. We first must discover our inner light and make the conscious choice to live by what is within. Letting it out is sharing our greatness with others. In doing so, it brightens our world, which further improves our experiences and theirs.
The practice of consciously living your life requires making choices that remains connected to what is within – being aware of who you are, how you are living and the impact on things outside of you. It is living a life being authentic to who you are, and actively going after what you want. By living consciously, you are allowing opportunity to live a life with greater happiness and positive experiences. Give yourself permission to authentically live by what is within you
“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.”
― Wayne W. Dyer
“When you’re at peace with yourself and love yourself, it is virtually impossible to do things to yourself that are destructive.”
― Wayne W. Dyer
