Winter is here and it is time to take personal responsibility for looking after our health during these months with little sunshine. There are many simple things that we can do to stay healthy. I will offer you some simple suggestions, all personally tried and tested and yielding great results.

Place a few drops of essential oils, in a diffuser or sprinkle a few on a tissue and put on the radiator, if you wish. You can also put a few drops on a tissue and keep it up your sleeve for a healthy sniff during the day.
Tea tree essential oil is well known for its antibacterial properties. It is also a natural disinfectant and decongestant, supporting respiratory ailments.
Lavender essential oil is another versatile oil, that can support your immune system. It relieves anxiety, and stress that can cause sleep deprivation. It is also widely available, and has many amazing properties: antidepressant, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, heavenly smell, and is a detoxifying oil.
There are many other oils that may be used to support the immune system also: Lemon, lemongrass, spearmint, rosemary, etc
Get adequate sleep, the body naturally needs more rest in the winter so increase your sleeping time. Eat lots of wholesome warm food, and drink warm drinks. This prevents your body from working overtime to regulate your temperature.
Get outdoors, spend time in nature and do your best to grab some natural daylight each day.
Turn off the news and give yourself plenty of time off all devices: we have become addicted to stimulation and this depletes our energy, thus exhausting our natural immunity.
Hang around with kind and positive people as much as possible and have fun. Listen to high vibrational music, sing, dance, be merry.
Take your Vitamins, especially a sufficient dose of Vitamin D and Vitamin C. Get advice in a reputable health store!
Make a conscious effort to do what it takes to reignite your joy and love for life. Reduce stress wherever possible and watch the sparkle increasing in your eyes.
